So far, my Junior Year in many ways has not been what I expected.
What I am getting at is, not only is the school work harder, but there is a lot to do in very little time.
PSAT exam. check.
ACT. check.
ASVAB test. check
Careerdays. check.
*And don't forget!
17 college letters a week. check.
Who knew what all was coming?
Today our class attended the Career Days in Mitchell, SD.
I got enough of an earful from plenty of colleges, and it helped may have helped narrow down my choices.
As of now, I am narrowing down my choice of schools, and working on what exactly I want to do with my life.
Oh the choices:
SDSU? USD? UofM? BHSU? NSU? The Mount?(too close to home, but I'm making a point here)
Must I go on? (okay those above might not be quite so realistic, but you are getting the idea now.)
But wait! There's more:
Medicine? Law? Spanish?(I will say no matter what I do it will most likely be backed by Spanish) Biology? Chemistry?
The choices are endless!
I know I have time, but you know how it goes. You sort of want an idea when your enrolling in your classes for next year. You sort of want an idea when you are looking at what colleges you want to visit. You sort of want an idea when you look at how you score in certain areas on the exams I named above (and there is more, yes indeed). You sort of want an idea before your a senior, and it becomes for real that you have one year.
I am not saying plans won't change, because more than likely they will. And I may be jumping the gun a tad bit, but today just made me start thinking a little harder, and like I said, You sorta want an idea before you graduate.
Oh, the choices.
